On the LCD display Angle of view

LCD screen is a backlight display device, the light it sends out is provided by the backlight behind the LCD screen module, inevitably leading to the LCD screen positive Angle only one optimal Angle of view. When you look at it from another Angle, because the backlight can penetrate adjacent pixels and into the human eye, it causes color distortion, and the true range is the Angle of view. In life, whether you notice the LCD screen or not, from different angles, there are different effects. From the middle of the LCD screen, and from the side, the intensity of light entering the human eye is different, for the same picture, that is, there is light, there is dark, that is, the contrast is different. Combined with the definition of perspective, within the contrast range acceptable to the human eye, the corresponding viewing Angle of the LCD screen is perspective.

The perspective of an LCD screen is a headache. When the backlight passes through the polarizer, liquid crystal and directional layer, the output light is directional. In other words, most of the light comes from the screen vertically, so when you look at the LCD display from a larger Angle, you can't see the original color, or even just see all white or all black.

The LCD screen on the market, as long as the horizontal Angle of view reaches 120 degrees, the vertical Angle of view reaches 140 degrees, can meet the application needs of most users. The latest LCD screens are made with wide-angle technology, which can reach 140 degrees, or about 150 degrees, reducing the inconvenience caused by too small a viewing Angle. Of course, this performance can't compete with a CRT display near 180 degrees, but it's good enough for most applications.
